Anwesh Bose has moved on from Whisper Media as CEO after a stint of more than one year.
Bose shared a gratitude post on his Linkedin account, and he wrote, “Yesterday was officially my last day at Whisper Media. I start a new inning tomorrow & will continue to be based in Jakarta. However, today is about Whisper Media. My stint at Whisper has been my shortest professionally but a very successful & meaningful one, despite Covid-19. Every team member contributed their bit with passion and commitment to make it happen & we were ably supported in equal measure by the management. Thank you, team Whisper Media.”
He further said, “A ‘Thank You’ is not enough for my friend and the Founder of Whisper Media, Manav Kapoor, for giving me this valuable opportunity & for being encouraging at every step in this journey.”
“Last but not the least, a big thank you to all the brands & media agencies for their support.I am confident that Whisper will keep marching forward from one successful milestone to another. Thank you for 500+ memorable days, mates. I look forward to staying in touch with you all,” he added.
Bose joined Whisper Media in January 2020. Previously he was the CEO of Havas Group Indonesia (part of Vivendi Group), where he was responsible for managing all the group brands in Indonesia. He was previously the Group CEO of Havas Media Group Indonesia.
Bose was the Senior Vice President & Business Head at DDB India during 2011-2014.
