WellCurve & CRY India Collaborate to Spread Goodness Via #DoGoodWithWellCurve campaign

New Delhi: Can you believe that 1 in every 3 kids in India is suffering from malnutrition? And 47 out of every 1000 children do not live to see their first birthday? Heartbreaking isn’t it? (Source: https://bit.ly/3z8CKo9)

As an initiative to help curb the unfortunate issue of Child malnourishment in India, WellCurve has collaborated with CRY India for a fundraiser campaign by the name #DoGoodWithWellCurve. The objective of the campaign is to indulge and engage their regular consumers to contribute to the cause by buying the co-branded boxes from WellCurve.

The month-long campaign that will begin from September 20, 2021, aims to sell 10,000 boxes and generate Rs 10,00,000. WellCurve has promised to donate an amount of Rs 1,00,000 or a percentage of the total revenue generated through the month to CRY, whichever is higher. Also, with each box being purchased by the customers, Rs.100 will be donated for the cause. Around 150 children from different project areas of CRY are expected to be benefitted from the initiative.

With an urge to explore as many avenues as they can, WellCurve is also conducting a social media activity where they are asking users to do a good deed, like helping an elderly person, feeding stray animals, etc., and post about it on their social handles. For each post that becomes a part of the campaign, WellCurve will be donating Rs.10 on behalf of each of these users.

Nikhil Mehra, Founder, Wellcurve, said, “This campaign is WellCurve’s way to contribute their bit towards health and wellness because these kids are the future of our country and their well-being is our nation’s wealth. We want to protect and nurture it.” 

To which Regional Director of Child Rights and You (CRY), Soha Moitra added, “Malnourishment leaves long-term effects on a child’s physical and mental development. A lot of children are deprived of regular, healthy, and nutritious meals which may have serious consequences on their health. CRY believes that no child should suffer from malnutrition or poor health irrespective of their socio-economic background. Thus, we are delighted to partner with WellCurve to support our cause”.

You can help WellCurve reach its target by buying its co-branded boxes from the website. The boxes are custom-made as per the buyer’s requirements. You can also pre-order Diwali boxes from 20th September – 20th October’21 and WellCurve will donate to CRY on your behalf.
