News channels garner 82 pc share of ad volumes by Properties-Real Estates Advertisers on TV during Jan-May’22: TAM Report

TAM AdEx released the Cross Media Report for Properties/Real Estates sector on TV, Print, Radio and Digital during the period Jan-May’22.

TV

The ad volumes ofProperties-Real Estates category on Television rose by 68 pc during Jan-May’22 over Jan-May’20 and by 42 pc more than Jan-May’21.

Among the Top 10 advertisers in the Properties-Real Estates category, SubhaGruha Projects (India) led the list with ad volumes of 9 pc.

Top 10 advertisers accounted for more than 40 pc share of ad volumes during Jan-May’22.

In the Leading and Exclusive Brands category during Jan-May’22, 380+ brands advertised on television. The Top10 brands accounted for 41 pc of total ad volume. 300 Exclusive brands advertised compared to Jan-May’21.

The most preferred channel genres by Properties-Real Estates category advertisers on TV wasNews genre with 82 pcshare of ad volumes at top position followed by GEC genre at 2nd position.

Top three channel sorts got 97 pcshare of ad volumes during Jan-May’22.

The most preferred program genres by Properties-Real Estates category advertisers on TV was News Bulletin with 57 pc share of ad volumes. Top two program genres, News Bulletin and Interviews/Portraits/Discussion together added 66 pc of the category ad volumes.

On TV, Prime Time was the most preferred time-bandfor Properties-Real Estates category advertising, followed by Afternoon time-band. Together, the Prime Time, Afternoon and Morning time groups combined for more than 70 pc of ad volumes.

Advertisers of Properties-Real Estates category preferred 20-40 secs ad size on TV. 20-40 seconds and >20 seconds ads together added 83 pc share of ad volumes during Jan- May’22.

PRINT

The ad space ofProperties-Real Estates category in Print medium grew by 2 times during Jan-May’22 compared to Jan-May’20.

Among the Top 10 Advertisers for Properties-Real Estates category in Print,Kedia Real Estate was the best promoter with 2 pc share of ad space amid Jan-May’22. Best 10 advertisers accounted to 15 pc share of ad space.

In the Leading and Exclusive Brands for Properties-Real Estates category in Print, 6K+ brands were present during Jan-May’22. The Top 10 brands had 9 pc share of ad space.

4.5K+ Exclusive brands appeared during Jan-May’22 compared to Jan-May’21.

In the Publication Language & Genre for Properties-Real Estates category in Print, English dialect was on top with 37 pc share of ad space. The Best fivedistribution dialects together added 93 pc share ofad space.

General Interest publication genre had 98 pc share of category’s ad space in Jan-May’22.

In the Zone wise Advertising share of Properties-Real Estates category in Print, West Zone topped with 34 pc share of ad space amid Jan-May’22.

Mumbai & Chennai were Top 2 cities in overall India for advertising in the category.

In the Properties-Real Estates category in Print, 23 pc share of ad space was with various Promotional offers during Jan-May’22.

Among the Sales Promotions, Discount Promotion had highest 60 pc share of ad space.

850+ Advertisers advertised with Sales Promotions in Properties-Real Estates category. LalitRoongta Group Builders & Developers had 7 pc of the category ad space among the ads with Sales Promotions during Jan-May’22.

RADIO

The ad volumes of Properties-Real Estates category on Radio saw an increase of 2.8 times in Jan-May’22 over Jan-May’20.

Among the Top 10 Properties-Real Estates Advertisers on Radio, Kedia Real Estate topped the list with 7 pc share of ad volumes. Best tenpromoters added 25 pc share of ad volumes amid Jan-May’22.

In the Leading and Exclusive Brands for Properties-Real Estates category on Radio, the Top 10 brands added 18 pcshare to the overall advertising space. 590+ brands advertised Exclusively during Jan-May’22 over Jan-May’21.

The State-wise share of Properties-Real Estates category advertising on Radio showed that the Top two states occupied nearly half of the ad pie.

Rajasthan state was on top with 23 pc share of ad volumes followed by Maharashtra with 22 pc share.

The evening and afternoon time-bands combined for 69 pc share of ad volumes on Radio for the Properties-Real Estates category.

DIGITAL

The ad insertions of Properties-Real Estates category on Digital medium saw a rise of 5.5 times in Jan-May’22 over Jan-May’20.

Among the top Advertisers of Properties-Real Estates category on Digital, Skandhanshi Infra Projects India topped the list with 19 pc share of ad insertions. Top 10 advertisers had 42 pc share of ad insertions during Jan-May’22.

Utilization of Creative Types and Digital Platforms showed Display Ads had more than 98 pc share of category Ad Insertions during Jan-May’22.

Among the Digital Platforms, Desktop Display topped with 57 pc share of Ad Insertions followed by Mobile Display with 39 pc share.
