VMentor.ai, a leading advisory platform for mentorship that focuses on delivering business results and impact, enriches its leadership team as E N Venkat joins as Independent Director on their Board.
A renowned, recognised name in the world of investment banking and VC world, Venkat is all set to add immense value to the Board of Directors. In his past roles, spanning over 30 years, Venkat has been involved with a variety of business situations from start-ups, project financing, infrastructure, private equity, fund launch and business development as well as an experience as a CEO of growth-stage companies.
He is a Partner with Aavishkaar Capital – a part of the Aavishkaar Group – which manages third-party funds. He joined Aavishkaar in 2013 – to take the Aavishkaar investment thesis broader into South and South East Asia, thru raising and managing AFF. He focuses on Aavishkaar Frontier Fund (AFF) activities in Indonesia, and is a member of the Board on Indonesian investments. Venkat co-manages the AFF and is actively engaged in the operations of the Technical Assistance Facilities, which work alongside AFF.

Venkat has helped in the conceptualisation and launch of ESG First Fund, which is focussed on SME exporters in Emerging Asia and East Africa. In addition to this, he is actively engaged in the startup ecosystem in India and Indonesia.
Before joining Aavishkaar Group, Venkat implemented multiple cross-border M&A transactions, project finance & special situation deals as a senior investment banker across a range of buy/sell side transactions – in India and the region.
