HR Ranganathan, Managing Director, Public TV (Writemen Media) was crowned Medianews4u Gamechanger 2022 South – News Television at the awards ceremony in Chennai on 31st May 2023.
The fifth edition of the annual event recognising path breaking contributions in the space of advertising, media and marketing awarded winners in 13 categories.

- For creating a credible news broadcast network at scale on the foundations of editorial integrity and neutrality.
- For establishing Public TV as a reliable Kannada voice for millions.
- For showing that it is possible for a journalist to create a news brand even on the challenging and cash-rich medium of television.
