Balaji Telefilms informed both the BSE and NSE that Abhishek Kumar, Group Chief Executive Officer, has resigned from his position due to personal reasons. The resignation came into effect at the close of business on June 15, 2023.
Kumar joined Balaji Telefilms in July 2022 succeeding Nachiket Pantvaidya, who left the organisation in May that year.
In a career spanning 20 years, Kumar has been associated with Rainforest Ventures, Snapdeal, TV18 Broadcast and NDTV.
Before joining Balaji Telefilms, Kumar served as the COO and General Partner at Jupiter Capital, a private equity and debt investment firm. Prior to that, he was the Managing Partner at venture capital network Rainforest, and also worked as an advisor and partner to multiple family offices for technology and consumer investments.
