Whatever Productions and Krishna Kunj Production to launch ‘Glam Fame’

Whatever Productions and Krishna Kunj Production, is set to unveil a one-of-its-kind mentor-based reality show – ‘Glam Fame.’ JioCinema is the streaming partner for the show. Glam Fame is poised to disrupt and revolutionise the fashion and glam industry for both aspiring male and female models. This innovative show serves as a dynamic platform, providing aspiring talents with the tools to turn their dreams into reality, bringing them one step closer to the coveted world of fame.

Far from being just another run-of-the-mill talent competition, Glam Fame represents a pioneering shift in the way we perceive and cultivate aspiring models. At its core, the show is dedicated to redefining the conventional beauty pageant model. It goes beyond conferring titles and concentrates on honing participants with vital skills, guidance, and the self-confidence essential for thriving in the fiercely competitive modelling industry. It addresses the challenges faced by aspiring models, such as the lack of appropriate channels, mentors, and financial barriers.

The show has been meticulously designed to provide a holistic experience for participants, who will be chosen from every corner of India through a rigorous digital audition process. Following this initial phase, the selected participants will navigate a series of rigorous selection rounds, including personal interviews and group discussions conducted in 12 major cities across India. Subsequently, they will join the show, embarking on a transformative journey designed to prepare them for a flourishing modelling career.

Glam Fame features a remarkable lineup of celebrity mentors including Rohit Khandelwal, Santoshi Shetty, Dinesh Shetty, and Dabboo Ratnani, who will play a pivotal role in guiding contestants through these crucial stages. Each of the 12 captivating episodes, will be devoted to aspects of grooming, fitness, portfolio development, choreography and modelling. The episodes will not only delve into the intricacies of the modelling industry but will also introduce participants to secret elements and unexpected challenges that will test their mettle.

It envisioned the empowerment of aspiring models through guidance from industry experts, and it was a mission we knew we had to bring to fruition. Crafting a 10 episodic show was a deliberate choice, which will offer a comprehensive and transformative experience for both our contestants as well as the audiences. The numero uno goal was to tap talent from the deepest pockets of India, and ‘Glam Fame’ will open doors to such opportunities. We hope to make a meaningful impact in the fashion and entertainment world because every change matters.”

The idea for this show came to life in June 2022. We wanted to create something different, a platform that would guide aspiring artists into the modelling world with a clear path. We faced many challenges, but we never gave up on turning this vision into reality. The concept of the show got a lot of attention and support from artists, actors, and models, which showed us that there’s a real need for a more sensible and comprehensive approach. Our goal with ‘Glam Fame’ is to do more than just give out titles. We want to empower contestants with the skills and confidence they need to succeed in the competitive modelling industry. We truly hope that this show can make a positive difference.”
