New Delhi: Network18 has taken a significant stride in its branded content business by enhancing the leadership team of News18 Studio.
According to sources close to Medianews4u.com, Don Zarrar has been appointed Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) for News18 Studio, overseeing Business News (CNBC-TV18) & Firstpost. Sahil Shetty assumes the role of CRO for News18 Studio’s General News division.
Janardhan Menon will now lead branded content revenue for General News, including CNN News18 and other key channels. Teby Se Kumar takes charge of branded content revenue from startup and emerging businesses.
These leaders will report to S Shivakumar, who himself is promoted to the role of CEO – News18 Studio, continuing to report to Puneet Singhvi, CEO – Digital & President – Corporate Strategy at Network18 and Avinash Kaul, CEO – Network18 (Broadcast).
Additionally, Sidharth Saini has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer of News18 Studios, assuming responsibility for the expanding events business alongside sales and execution, while maintaining a strong focus on ideation.
