Mumbai: Surinder Chawla has been appointed as the Head of Response at Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd. (BCCL), marking a significant move in the media conglomerate’s leadership strategy. Chawla brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having previously served as the Managing Director and CEO of PayTM Payments Bank. His expertise is poised to enhance BCCL’s response management capabilities, crucial in navigating the dynamic landscape of media operations.
Before joining PayTM Payments Bank, Chawla was associated with RBL Bank as Head of Branch Banking. During his career in Banking Sector, he was also associated with HDFC Bank (for 11 years), ABN AMRO Bank NV, Standard Chartered Bank and Citi Bank.
Media reports also claims that Partha Sinha is set to take on the mantle of President and Chief Brand Officer at BCCL. Prior to this appointment, Sinha held the responsibility of driving revenue generation and integrating brands and content. He joined the Times Group in March 2020 as President – Response.
