Mumbai: World Pickleball League (WPBL) has announced the entertainment line-up for the tournament. The league, set to kick off on January 24, 2025, promises an unforgettable fusion of sport and entertainment at the historic Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai, which will host its first-ever non-cricket event, adding a new chapter to its rich legacy.
The highly anticipated league is set to provide an exceptional fan experience, blending high-energy performances with intense pickleball action. Among the star performers gracing the event are Dhvani Bhanushali, Suhani Shah, and the well-known band The Yellow Diary. Their electrifying acts, paired with the exciting matches, will ensure fans are treated to an unparalleled spectacle.
In an exciting development, WPBL has partnered with Swiggy Scenes for ticket sales, offering fans the chance to purchase tickets exclusively through the platform. This collaboration makes it easy for fans to secure their spot at this one-of-a-kind event celebrating pickleball, entertainment, and community. Alongside thrilling live pickleball games, fans will enjoy a variety of spectacular performances.
Six teams will compete in the tournament, with the opening day featuring an exciting Maharashtra derby between Mumbai Pickle Power and Pune United. The tournament will also see the southern derby between Atlee’s Bengaluru Jawans and Samantha Prabhu’s Chennai Champs.
