aha OTT unveils floating Billboard at Hussain Sagar for Dance IKON Season 2

Hyderabad: In a spectacular marketing campaign, aha, a regional OTT platform, has set a new benchmark for innovation with a visual display at the heart of Hyderabad. To mark the grand return of its much-awaited dance reality show, Dance IKON Season 2: Wildfire, aha placed a massive 5-ton floating spectacle in Hussain Sagar Lake, transforming the city’s skyline into a one-of-a-kind billboard.

This unprecedented installation, one of the largest of its kind in Hyderabad in the past decade, instantly became a landmark attraction. The giant floating signage, crafted in just 48 hours, spans an impressive 40 feet in length and 36 feet in height, mounted on a 72×20-foot barge. The illuminated display not only caught the eye of passersby but also sparked conversations across social media, turning into a selfie hotspot for locals and tourists alike.

Season 2 of Dance IKON: Wildfire promises to be bigger, bolder, and more thrilling, featuring intense dance battles, unexpected wildcard entries, high-stakes eliminations, and powerful mentor moments. The fiery floating installation embodies the high-energy spirit of the show, setting the stage for a season hotter than ever before.

Speaking on the grand marketing initiative, Vipin Unni, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of aha, said, “Yes, you heard it right. We dropped Dance IKON 2 in a lake. To launch #DanceIKON2WildFire, we placed a 5-ton floating spectacle right in the middle of Hussain Sagar, making Hyderabad’s skyline our billboard—something never done before in a decade. The reaction has been phenomenal; visitors near the Buddha Statue were stunned, and the installation quickly became a selfie magnet and a social media sensation.”

He added, “This season is all about sizzling talent, unexpected twists, and ruthless eliminations, with survival driven by audience votes. We had to match that energy with our marketing.
