Mumbai: JioHotstar is set to stream Ponman, a dark comedy-drama, from March 14. Directed by Jothish Shankar and written by G. R. Indugopan and Justin Mathew, this film is produced by Vinayaka Ajith under the banner of Ajith Vinayaka Films.
The film stars Basil Joseph, Sajin Gopu, Lijomol Jose, Deepak Parambol, Anand Manmadhan, Sandhya Rajendran, Rajesh Sharma, Kiran Peethambaran, Reju Sivadas, Jaya Kurupp, Midhun Venugopal, Thankam Mohan, and Shylaja P Ambu.
Set in Kollam, Ponman follows gold dealer PP Ajesh, who lends gold jewelry for the marriage of Bruno’s sister, Steffi. When the promised repayment falls through, Ajesh must confront Steffi’s husband to reclaim the gold.
With music composed by Justin Varghese and captivating cinematography by Sanu John Varghese, Ponman promises a remarkable cinematic experience. The film will be available in four languages: Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.
