Cricket tops Ormax Media’s OTT Watchlist for the first half of the year

Mumbai: The India OTT Watchlist – An Ormax StreamView Report from Jan-Jun 2026. This mid-year report offers an overview of what India watched on OTT in the first six months of 2026.

The T20 cricket World Cup on JioHotstar got 246 million viewers. The IPL also on JioHotstar got 228.4 million viewers. In third spot is the second season of ‘India’s got Latent’ on Netflix, Youtube with 38.5 million viewers.

The movie ‘Dhurandhar’ on Netflix, JioHotstar is in fourth spot with 35.2 million viewers. The sequel is in sixth place with 27.8 million viewers. More cricket rounds out the top five. The India versus New Zealand series on JioHotstar got 30.5 million viewers on JioHotstar.

Despite poor match timings the on-going Fifa World Cup on Zee5 made the top 10. It is in eight spot with 17.6 million viewers.
