Mumbai: Kerala’s musical reality show, Star Singer, is back with its much-anticipated tenth season, and the excitement kicks off with a spectacular Mega Launch Event on Asianet. The show, known for discovering and nurturing extraordinary musical talents, has been a stepping stone for countless singers in the Malayalam music industry.
From an overwhelming 6,000 auditions held across Kerala, 35 talented contestants have been selected for the Mega Launch Event, where they will get one last chance to secure their spot in Star Singer Season 10’s thrilling journey.
The event was officially inaugurated with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by legendary musicians Jerry Amaldev, Ouseppachan, and renowned lyricist Shibu Chakravarthy. Joining them were the esteemed judging panel for the season, featuring,
- K.S. Chithra – The evergreen melody queen
- Vidhu Prathap – A powerhouse of playback singing
- Sithara – The versatile singer and composer
- Kishan Kumar – Channel Head of Asianet
The evening was graced by Malayalam cinema’s beloved stars, Manju Warrier and Bhavana, adding glamour and excitement to the occasion. The dynamic hosting duo, Mithun and Varsha, kept the audience engaged with their energetic presence.
