CashKaro drops new ‘Latent’ ad film under #CoinsVSCashback campaign

Mumbai: In its latest and boldest creative move yet, CashKaro, a cashback and coupons platform, has launched the second ad film under its ongoing #CoinsVSCashback digital campaign — this time with a hilariously sharp twist on a viral reality show moment from Indian pop culture.

Titled “Latent is Back with a Cashback!”, the film revives the chaos and drama of a widely recognized TV talent show moment, but flips the script with a clear message: “Coins Voins are all bakwaas, real cashback is with CashKaro.” By satirizing coin-based rewards that often leave consumers with little real value, CashKaro highlights its own straightforward proposition — real cashback that goes directly into users’ bank accounts, no fine print or expiry.

The ad joins a lineup of earlier campaign content, including a Ghibli-style animated film and the offbeat “The GOAT Talks” series — all reinforcing the idea that coins are a distraction, while CashKaro offers genuine savings.

Swati Bhargava, Co-Founder of CashKaro and EarnKaro, commented on the brand’s mission, saying, “CashKaro has always stood for real, tangible savings — not coins that come with fine print, expiry dates, or usage limits. With our digital campaign #CoinsVSCashback, we’re calling out the smoke and mirrors of so-called coin rewards. This Latent-inspired ad film is the latest in a series of bold, creative adaptations reinforcing that real cashback is money that users can bank, spend, and benefit from without limitations.”

She added that this film builds on the momentum of CashKaro’s previous Aadat Badlo campaign, which encouraged small shifts in consumer habits to unlock big rewards.

The ad film was conceptualized and produced by CashKaro’s in-house Brand & Creatives team, known for blending cultural commentary with quirky visuals and punchy storytelling.

With this latest addition, CashKaro continues to carve out a distinctive space in the crowded e-commerce and rewards landscape — using humour, nostalgia, and transparency to make cashback not just accessible, but entertaining.
