Mumbai: Novotel Goa Resort & Spa and Novotel Goa Candolim, two of Goa’s leading hospitality destinations, have announced the appointment of Tanya Viegas as their new Director of Sales & Marketing.
In her new role, Tanya will spearhead the commercial strategy for the Novotel Candolim Complex, with a key focus on strengthening the properties’ presence across the leisure and MICE segments. Known for her strategic thinking and performance-led approach, Tanya’s appointment is set to bring renewed energy to the sales and marketing efforts of both properties.
Bringing with her over 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Tanya has previously served as Multi-Property Director of Sales & Marketing for Le Meridien Goa, Calangute and Courtyard by Marriott Goa Colva. She played a pivotal role in opening and positioning both properties in the competitive Goan market. Her proven track record spans sales strategy, brand positioning, digital outreach, and team leadership, all rooted in a deep understanding of the evolving hospitality landscape.
Tanya holds a BA (Hons) in Hotel Management from IHM Aurangabad and a Bachelor of Business Administration, giving her both a solid academic foundation and hands-on industry expertise. Her ability to combine educational insights with market-driven execution makes her a standout leader in the space.
