Ather Energy launches 'All India Topper' campaign to celebrate Rizta's award-winning debut

Mumbai: Ather Energy Limited has launched its latest campaign titled ‘All India Topper’, celebrating the remarkable success of its family electric scooter, Rizta, across the country’s leading auto and design award platforms. Since its launch in July 2024, Rizta has emerged as the most awarded electric scooter of the year, securing 13 major awards, including accolades for design, technology, and overall performance.

The campaign draws inspiration from the academic world, portraying Rizta as a model student who aces every subject – or in this case, every category of recognition. The ‘All India Topper’ film has been released on Ather’s YouTube channel and is being amplified through print advertisements in major national dailies. The creative narrative features a group of children marveling at Rizta’s “report card” of awards — a playful yet powerful metaphor for the scooter’s industry dominance.

Speaking on the campaign, Saurabh Sharma, Head of Marketing, Ather Energy Limited, said, “The upgrading Indian consumer is looking for better experience in every category and Ather Rizta is the first scooter that meets the needs of the upgrading Indian family. The Rizta, with its leading seat space, storage, safety, design and convenience led features, is a beautiful fit for all the versatile use cases that an Indian family expects a scooter to meet. That is why the Rizta has been such a success and has propelled Ather to become the No.1 scooter brand in the south in Q3 FY25 and Q4 FY25, despite only rolling out in July 2024. The scooter also increased our market share significantly in the north and west regions of the country. These awards from respected industry experts are a testament to Rizta’s thoughtful design and innovation in the family segment. Our ‘All India Topper’ campaign celebrates this recognition while highlighting how Rizta has redefined the scooter segment in the country.”

Among the prestigious titles won by Rizta are:

  • Scooter of the Year (Electric Category)
  • Viewers’ Choice Scooter of the Year

Rizta is Ather’s first entry into the family scooter segment, equipped with features like 56L of total storage, SkidControl™ traction system, a wide, comfortable seat, MagicTwist™ regenerative braking, and a connected interface powered by AtherStack™ 6. The scooter brings smart connectivity to everyday rides with Google Maps, live location sharing, WhatsApp alerts, and ride stats, among other tech-first features.
