Bengaluru: Mygate, a community management platform, has announced significant senior leadership promotions aimed at reinforcing the company’s growth trajectory and innovation-driven vision. Rohit Jindal has been elevated to the role of Co-founder, in addition to his existing responsibilities as Chief Business Officer (CBO), while Pranav Shankar, formerly Senior Vice President – Technology, has been appointed as the company’s new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
The strategic promotions recognize the instrumental roles both leaders have played in building Mygate into a category-defining platform serving over 25,000 communities across 50+ cities.
“In 2016, Vijay, Shreyans, and I set out to solve problems that were unique to urban Indian structures. As we created and scaled up as a category, every day is a testament to the fact that we could not have built it without the support of strong leaders like Rohit and Pranav. They embody the culture & values of Mygate, and are committed to taking us to greater heights in the years to come,” said Abhishek Kumar, CEO and Co-Founder, Mygate.
Pranav Shankar, a Computer Science graduate from IIT Bombay with over a decade of experience in tech-first ventures, joined Mygate in 2019. Since then, he has architected and scaled critical systems, including the visitor approval engine, which handles over 100 crore approvals annually, and the payments platform that processes ₹4500 crore in society dues. He has also led Mygate’s latest foray into Smart Home devices, ensuring a robust, secure, and cost-efficient tech backbone.
Rohit Jindal joined Mygate in 2017 during its early years, bringing leadership experience from Practo, HSBC, and Citibank. He has been central to Mygate’s national expansion and played a key role in launching and scaling the Mygate Ad Platform, now a prominent channel for brands targeting urban Indian households.
