New Delhi: In a move to commemorate 10 years of the landmark Digital India initiative, the Government of India has launched a nationwide video contest encouraging creators to showcase the transformative impact of digital technology on everyday life. Titled ‘A Decade of Digital India – Reel Contest’, the initiative aims to tap into the storytelling potential of India’s growing creator economy by inviting Instagram reels, vlogs, or short video submissions that creatively reflect the benefits of the Digital India Mission.
The contest, hosted on the official citizen engagement platform MyGov, calls on digital creators to highlight how technology-led services—such as online education, e-healthcare, financial inclusion, and e-governance—have made a tangible difference to citizens across urban and rural India.
Attractive Cash Prizes for 85 Winners
A total of 85 winners will be selected, with a cumulative prize pool of ₹2 lakh. The breakdown of prizes includes:
-
₹15,000 each for the Top 10 entries
-

The government hopes the initiative will encourage more people to share their digital empowerment stories and raise awareness of how Digital India has simplified access to essential public services.
