The gripping five-match series culminated in a dramatic finale, with the fifth day of the fifth Test at The Oval drawing a peak concurrency of 13 million on JioHotstar — an all-time high for a Test match streamed online.
Across its run, the series generated an astounding 65 billion minutes of watch time, underlining the magnetic appeal of long-format cricket when coupled with high-stakes competition. The tournament marked the start of India’s campaign for the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 cycle, signalling both a shift in leadership and a renewed drive to reclaim red-ball dominance.
Fans enjoyed coverage in five languages — English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada, further broadening the event’s accessibility and reach.
