Mumbai: Yotta Data Services, India’s leading sovereign AI, sovereign cloud infrastructure, and platform services provider, today announced its entry into the media and entertainment technology space with the launch of Urja and Sudarshan — two enterprise-grade, cloud-native platforms built to transform content creation, management, and distribution for India’s media and entertainment industry and other content-driven sectors.

Hosted on Yotta’s hyperscale sovereign cloud infrastructure, Urja and Sudarshan promise low latency, high performance, data privacy, and security. With flexible, pay-as-you-use pricing, the platforms are designed to empower creators, studios, and content owners to scale effortlessly while enhancing monetization potential.

The Indian media industry is undergoing a rapid transformation with digital-first consumption, rising cost pressures, and the growing need for efficiency. Yotta’s foray into media-tech aims to address these challenges by delivering cloud-native, scalable solutions that enable faster adoption of new trends, optimized workflows, and improved monetization opportunities.

Echoing this vision, Sashisekhar Panda, Business Head of Cloud & Media Services, Yotta Data Services, added, “At Yotta, we strongly believed that technology should be tailor-made to India’s unique needs. Urja is India’s first fully cloud-native Renderfarm-as-a-Service platform, designed for CGI rendering, animation, industrial CAD, gaming, and advanced VFX. Powered by Yotta’s GPU-driven infrastructure, it supports leading 3D design tools and plugins, eliminating the need for costly on-premises hardware.

Sudarshan, meanwhile, is India’s first end-to-end cloud-based Media Asset Management (MAM) and Online Video Platform (OVP) solution. It enables storage, organization, streaming, and monetization of content including video, music, podcasts, and articles. With features like AI-assisted search, workflow automation, branded OTT service launches, and advanced video analytics, Sudarshan helps creators streamline production, track audience engagement, and unlock new revenue opportunities.

Both platforms will be offered through a pay-as-you-grow model, making them accessible for media companies, broadcasters, educational institutions, lifestyle brands, and other content-driven enterprises.
