PUMA reintroduces iconic Speedcat with Ibrahim Ali Khan and Tania Shroff leading Gen Z campaign

Mumbai: PUMA has reignited the buzz around one of its most iconic sneakers with a fresh, culture-first campaign for Speedcat, featuring Ibrahim Ali Khan and Tania Shroff. The campaign positions Speedcat as Gen Z’s ultimate style staple — a sneaker that effortlessly bridges heritage with contemporary fashion.

Leading the India campaign this season, Ibrahim and Tania bring contrasting yet complementary aesthetics to an edgy Speedcat-fuelled shoot. From streets to after-parties, off-duty looks to front-row polish, the duo showcases how the versatile silhouette adapts seamlessly across styles. Together, they reintroduce Speedcat with an aspirational yet accessible vibe — just the way Gen Z likes it.

Backed by 40+ new Speedcat variants for Autumn/Winter 2025, the collection spans suede, leather, ballet-core inspired silver editions, and motorsport nods with tongue flaps. Each pair retains the signature low-slung silhouette and driver’s heel, making Speedcat instantly recognizable.

Ibrahim Ali Khan, actor and PUMA India ambassador, shared: “I love the archives and find the Speedcat a great sneaker to wear. I can throw it on for brunch, wear it for production meetings, or take it straight into the night, and it always makes the right kind of noise. The Speedcat has that effortless blend of heritage and style, making it a bold statement in every setting.”

Reintroduced from the archive for its 25th anniversary in 2024, the PUMA Speedcat made a powerful comeback, earning celebrity co-signs and proving its sell-out appeal. With endorsements from global icons including Rihanna, Dua Lipa, Rośe, Sophie Turner and Emily Ratajkowski, the silhouette has evolved with each iteration — cementing its status as a generational icon.
