Mumbai: Flipkart Minutes, the quick commerce arm of India’s home-grown e-commerce giant Flipkart, celebrated this year’s Ganesh Chaturthi with a digital-first campaign rooted in devotion and speed, offering customers the convenience of receiving prasad from revered temples in just 10 minutes.
The festive campaign, conceptualized in collaboration with FCB Kinnect, reimagines the traditional Ganesh Aarti using only everyday household sounds, handclaps, table taps, and utensil beats — creating a minimalist yet emotionally resonant audio-visual experience. By blending culture, music, and technology, Flipkart Minutes highlighted the power of devotion and connection in innovative ways.
The on-ground activations brought the campaign to life for devotees across Mumbai and Pune:
- Blessings Delivered in Minutes: From August 27 to September 6, devotees could receive fresh prasad, including Ladoo and Modak, from temples such as Siddhivinayak in Mumbai and Shrimant Dagdusheth in Pune in just 10 minutes, for only ₹1 (on minimum orders of ₹799 in Mumbai and ₹399 in Pune). This initiative allowed customers to bypass long queues and traffic while still partaking in the sanctity of tradition.
- Get Charged in Minutes: Flipkart Minutes set up rapid mobile charging stations in high-footfall areas, enabling devotees to stay connected during long hours of pandal hopping and processions.
- Festive Surprises: To add a musical touch, customers in Mumbai received complimentary manjiras, a traditional percussion instrument, delivered with their orders on the first day of Ganesh Chaturthi.
Through these initiatives, Flipkart Minutes seamlessly combined faith with technology, creating a meaningful festive experience while reinforcing its position in India’s fast-evolving quick commerce landscape.
