New Delhi: Red FM, one of India’s leading private radio and entertainment networks, is set to launch the 4th edition of its signature Dugga Dugga Festival in Delhi for the first time. Titled “Dugga Dugga – Shakti Roopena Sansthita”, the event will be held on September 20, 2025, at Talkatora Stadium, bringing the vibrancy of Bengal’s Durga Puja to the heart of the capital.
Positioned as a multi-sensory cultural extravaganza, Dugga Dugga goes beyond music to blend literature, dance, art, theatre, food, fashion, and community spirit. The festival is Red FM’s tribute to the power and essence of Shakti, anchored in the cultural and emotional fervor of Devi Pokkho, and aims to recreate the essence of Pujo for audiences outside Bengal.
The Delhi edition features a star-studded lineup of celebrated Bengali artists, including:
- Dona Ganguly & troupe – showcasing classical dance
- Iman Chakraborty – delivering soulful musical performances
- Anupam Roy Band – presenting modern Bengali compositions
- Anjan Dutta with The Electric Band – bringing contemporary energy to the stage
The event builds on the success of its earlier editions in Kolkata and marks Red FM’s efforts to scale its flagship IPs across geographies.
Nisha Narayanan, Director & COO, RED FM and Magic FM, said, “At Red FM, embracing and celebrating diverse cultures has always been central to who we are and Dugga Dugga Festival is a vibrant reflection of this ethos, a heartfelt tribute to the richness of Bengal. This year, we bring a contemporary twist to tradition, where folk meets modern rhythms, classical ragas intertwine with spoken word, and the spirit of Pujo comes alive in every sound, step, and beat. With its debut in Delhi, Dugga Dugga reinforces Red FM’s role as a cultural evangelist, bridging heritage with modernity, amplifying diverse voices, and celebrating India’s rich traditions. The festival stands as a testament to how cultural celebrations are not just rituals, but living expressions of unity, joy, and resilience crafted to inspire and engage everyone, everywhere.”
In addition to its stellar performances, Dugga Dugga will host a range of experiential zones that feature:
- Authentic Bengali cuisine
- Spoken word and poetry
- Artisan-led crafts and folk artistry
