Truecaller unveils adVantage to redefine business messaging and engagement

Mumbai: Truecaller, the world’s leading communications platform, today announced the launch of adVantage, an AI-powered recommendation engine designed to transform how businesses engage users during high-attention communication moments. adVantage leverages a centralized intelligence hub that continuously learns from user interactions, refining its outputs to foster deeper engagement and stronger business outcomes.

The new platform works seamlessly across business messaging, contextual advertising, and other enterprise-grade solutions, empowering brands to deliver the right message with precision and impact.

adVantage is powered by a daily stream of insights from Truecaller’s vast ecosystem. By harnessing real-time behavioral intelligence and advanced recommendation models, the platform delivers personalized, privacy-safe experiences with anonymized and aggregated data, ensuring every ad or offer is highly relevant.

For consumers, this translates into greater trust and relevance, while for businesses, adVantage serves as an AI-powered advisor, enabling smarter targeting, unlocking new revenue opportunities, and uncovering actionable insights for better decision-making.

Speaking on the launch, Rishit Jhunjhunwala, Global CEO of Truecaller, said, “In a world moving away from broad targeting, relevance is the new currency. adVantage is our answer to the market’s need for smarter, privacy-compliant personalization. After a successful testing phase within Truecaller’s ads business—where it delivered higher engagement and ROI benchmarks—adVantage is now being rolled out for additional use cases. On the company’s business messaging platform, open rates reportedly jumped by 400% during early trials.

The platform operates through three self-adjusting modules:

  • Discover: Expands reach by identifying new, relevant audience segments.
  • Engage: Boosts mid-funnel performance by re-targeting interested users.
  • Perform: Optimizes key outcomes such as lead generation, app installs, and commerce transactions.

In pilot campaigns, adVantage drove up to a 50% lift in click-through rates, reaching over 200 million users across high-intent verticals like automotive, fintech, edtech, and e-commerce. By combining precision-led discovery with AI-driven insights, the platform consistently converted awareness into measurable business outcomes.
