Mumbai: Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (‘Z’) has achieved a major milestone in its sustainability journey by garnering a high score of 51 out of 100 in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) 2025, placing the company amongst the top 5% globally in the Media, Movies and Entertainment sector.
This achievement underscores ‘Z’s strong commitment to driving meaningful impact across its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) pillars. Over the past year, the company has strengthened performance across key areas including corporate governance, supply chain management, climate governance, and human capital management, resulting in its highest-ever ESG score.
The company’s enhanced performance was driven by robust initiatives in stakeholder engagement, double materiality assessment, policy influence, privacy protection, information security management, carbon accounting, energy management, customer relations, and occupational health & safety management.
‘Z’ now ranks in the 96th percentile within its industry category, with transparency reporting achieving a 100th percentile score. It also scored above the 95th percentile in areas such as risk management, supply chain management, tax strategy, water conservation, human rights, human capital management, and customer relations — significantly outperforming the industry average score of 22.

The S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) measures a company’s performance in managing ESG risks, opportunities, and impacts relative to peers within its sector, assessing both the quality of disclosures and tangible performance outcomes.
During the year, ‘Z’ implemented several initiatives aimed at improving its sustainability impact — including strengthening data privacy and cybersecurity frameworks leading to zero data breaches, enhancing carbon accounting at a consolidated level, and adopting energy conservation, waste reduction, and recycling programs across operations.
With this recognition, ‘Z’ continues to demonstrate its long-term commitment to embedding ESG principles into its strategic framework, driving sustainable growth while contributing to broader societal progress.
