Asian Paints celebrates South India’s heritage with special edition regional packaging

Mumbai: Asian Paints is bringing the rich culture and artistry of South India to homes with its Special Edition Regional packaging for ACE Emulsion and Tractor Emulsion. The limited-edition packs, designed for Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu, capture the pride, traditions, and unique stories of each state, highlighting their cultural identity.

The Andhra Pradesh & Telangana packaging showcases iconic landmarks such as the Charminar and Tirupati Temple, along with cultural elements like Kuchipudi, Kalamkari, Bonalu, and Ugadi. Additional symbols, including Etikoppaka toys, Warangal Fort Gate, Lepakshi Nandi, Hussain Sagar Buddha, and the Vizag Submarine, celebrate the region’s heritage, coastal pride, and unity.

Karnataka’s design reflects its historical and natural richness, featuring the Hampi Chariot, Gol Gumbaz, Mysore Palace, and the vibrant theatrical form Yakshagana. Spiritual and regional elements such as Gomateshwara, Tungabhadra-inspired motifs, Kasuti embroidery, Bidriware, Bandipur elephants, and the Indian Roller bring Karnataka’s art, architecture, and biodiversity to life.

The Tamil Nadu packaging draws inspiration from devotion, craftsmanship, and coastal traditions. Central elements include the Meenakshi Temple, Bharatanatyam, Pongal pots, Karakattam, Thanjavur dolls, Kolam, Chola-inspired motifs, and the Airavatesvara Temple wheel. Additional touches, such as banana leaf hospitality, Chennai Railway Station, Manora Fort, and the Kanyakumari Memorial, showcase the blend of heritage and modernity.

Extending beyond packaging, Asian Paints has launched brand films for each state, capturing festive moments, iconic architecture, serene landscapes, and everyday life. These films highlight how walls painted with ACE Emulsion and Tractor Emulsion not only provide long-lasting protection but also reflect identity, pride, and cultural expression in South Indian homes.

The Special Edition Regional packaging reinforces Asian Paints’ commitment to celebrating local culture and fostering deeper connections with communities across India. While ACE Emulsion and Tractor Emulsion are renowned for durability and freshness, these new designs add an extra layer of cultural pride, making them a meaningful choice for consumers.
