Mumbai: CaratLane – A TATA Product, an omni-channel jewellery brand and the preferred destination for engagement rings – today launched its new regional film, “Written in the Stars”, featuring actor Kayadu Lohar, who joins the brand as its Regional Brand Ambassador. The campaign has been conceptualised by BBH India, extending the agency’s long-standing creative partnership with CaratLane.
The new brand film portrays a modern proposal wrapped in love, tradition, family, and commitment, anchored by CaratLane’s natural diamonds. Kayadu plays a young woman who believes she is being introduced to a prospective groom chosen by her family. What starts with nervous anticipation gradually unfolds into a heartwarming realisation: the person waiting for her is actually her partner.
The narrative twist, orchestrated by her father and partner, highlights the evolving dynamics of family approval while merging tradition with contemporary relationships. The story concludes with CaratLane’s core belief: “Commitment is a beautiful thing. Seal it with a CaratLane ring.”
