2025 Influencer Marketing Playbook Maps India’s Top Creators Across Food, Travel, Lifestyle, Beauty, Tech and Entertainment
Share Share ShareShare

As influencer marketing matures into a performance-driven and professionally structured industry, identifying the right creators has become a strategic imperative for brands. The 2025 Influencer Marketing Playbook by Influencer.in offers a comprehensive snapshot of this evolving ecosystem, going beyond trend analysis to spotlight the creators who are shaping India’s digital influence landscape today.

Based on insights gathered from over 500 creators and 50+ brands, the annual report examines how the creator economy has scaled in size, sophistication, and business relevance. It tracks shifts in platform dominance, content formats, monetisation models, and AI adoption—while also presenting a curated list of top-performing Indian creators across key content categories.

The creator listings function as a ready reckoner for brands, highlighting category leaders with significant reach across Instagram and YouTube, the two most commercially relevant platforms in the Indian market. Spanning Food, Travel, Lifestyle, Beauty & Fashion, Technology, and Entertainment, the list reflects the growing diversity of influence—from niche specialists to mass-market digital stars.

Food: Culinary Creators Driving High Engagement and Trust

Food continues to be one of the most brand-friendly creator categories, combining daily relevance with high engagement. The Playbook’s Food category features creators who blend recipes, reviews, and storytelling to build loyal communities.

Leading names include Anjali Dhingra (834K followers on Instagram), Asha Maharana (560K on Instagram), and chef-influencer Saloni Kukreja, who commands 551K followers on Instagram and 167K subscribers on YouTube.

High-scale food storytelling is represented by Chatori Rajni with 1 million Instagram followers and 295K YouTube subscribers, while creators like Shreya Agarwala (2M Instagram, 383K YouTube) and Pavitra Kaur (551K Instagram, 578K YouTube) highlight the growing role of video-led culinary influence.

Travel: Experience-Led Storytelling Meets Scale

Travel creators continue to play a crucial role in tourism, hospitality, and lifestyle marketing, particularly as experiential consumption rebounds. The Playbook’s Travel category features creators who combine aspirational visuals with destination-led narratives.

Among the top names is Aakash Malhotra, with 2 million Instagram followers and 187K YouTube subscribers. Sharanya Iyer stands out with 1 million Instagram followers and a strong YouTube presence of 653K subscribers, while Prakriti Arora brings near-million Instagram reach alongside 132K YouTube subscribers.

Other notable creators include Vidya Ravishankar (894K Instagram) and duo creators Rebecca and Gowtham, reflecting the growing popularity of couple-led travel storytelling.

Lifestyle: From Daily Inspiration to Mass Influence

Lifestyle remains one of the broadest and most commercially versatile creator categories, encompassing fashion, wellness, parenting, and everyday inspiration. The Playbook’s listings reveal both scale-driven stars and high-engagement community builders.

Creators such as Pearle Maaney (2M Instagram, 597K YouTube) and Jahanvi Tiwari (5M Instagram, 4M YouTube) illustrate how lifestyle creators now rival mainstream celebrities in reach.

Mid-scale yet high-impact creators like Kashish Ratnani (1.3M Instagram, 1.6M YouTube) and Shreya Kalra (284K Instagram, 1M YouTube) highlight the importance of cross-platform presence in building influence.

Beauty & Fashion: Commerce-Ready Influence at Scale

Beauty and fashion continue to be among the most conversion-driven categories in influencer marketing. The Playbook’s Beauty & Fashion list includes creators with strong visual identities and high purchase intent among followers.

Prominent names include Sunjemila, who boasts 467K Instagram followers and a massive 1.4M YouTube subscriber base, and Sonia Garg with 766K followers on Instagram and 3M subscribers on YouTube.

Creators such as Anjani Bhoj (519K Instagram, 261K YouTube) and Muskaan Kothari (696K Instagram) reflect the growing importance of tutorial-led and review-based content in driving brand outcomes.

Technology: Scale, Credibility and Performance Impact

Technology creators represent one of the most influential categories in terms of purchase decisions. The Playbook’s Tech listings include some of India’s largest digital-native personalities.

At the top of the list is TechBurner, with 12 million YouTube subscribers, alongside industry veteran Arun Prabhudesai (1.6M YouTube). Ruhez Amrelia combines 4M Instagram followers with 12M YouTube subscribers, underlining the scale tech creators command.

Creators like Manoj Saru (3M Instagram, 15.7M YouTube) and Dhananjay (2M Instagram, 15M YouTube) demonstrate why tech influence increasingly overlaps with mainstream digital media.

Entertainment: Comedy, Commentary and Cultural Reach

Entertainment creators dominate India’s social feeds, blending humour, commentary, and pop culture. The Playbook highlights creators who have built massive followings through relatable, repeatable formats.

Standout names include comedian Raunaq Rajani (677K Instagram, 1.5M YouTube) and Govind Kaushal, who commands 2.9M Instagram followers and 3.3M YouTube subscribers. Vagmita Singh adds commentary-led influence with 506K YouTube subscribers.

As outlined in The 2025 Influencer Marketing Playbook, the creator economy is no longer experimental—it is structured, data-led, and deeply embedded in marketing strategy. The category-wise listing of top creators serves as a practical discovery tool for brands, agencies, and marketers looking to align with creators who deliver scale, credibility, and platform-native storytelling.

With creators increasingly acting as media brands—and brands demanding measurable outcomes—such directories underline a simple truth of 2025: influence is no longer about visibility alone, but about strategic fit, audience trust, and sustained impact.
