Hyderabad: Get set for an evening of laughter and wholesome entertainment as Zee Telugu presents the World Television Premiere of the comedy-drama Mithra Mandali and Sankranthi special event Sankranthi Allullu Pandagaki Vastunnaru on January 11th (Sunday) at 3:30 PM and 6 PM respectively.
Directed by Vijayender S, Mithra Mandali revolves around Chaitanya (Priyadarshi) and his close-knit group of friends- Satvik (Vishnu Oi), Abhi (Rag Mayuri), and Rajeev (Prasad Behra). Their lives take a hilarious and chaotic turn when they cross paths with Swecha (Niharika NM), the daughter of a powerful politician. What begins as a simple attempt to help a friend navigate love soon spirals into a web of confusion, misunderstandings, and laugh-out-loud situations, packed with unexpected twists. The film features a strong ensemble cast led by the versatile Priyadarshi, along with social media sensation Niharika NM, Rag Mayur, Vishnu Oi, and Prasad Behara.
The entertainment doesn’t stop there, as Zee Telugu amps up the festive spirit with its grand Sankranthi special, “Sankranthi Allullu Pandagaki Vastunnaru,” bringing viewers a star-studded celebration. Hosted by the ever-popular Pradeep Machiraju and Sudheer, the show opens on a hilarious note with director Anil Ravipudi roasting the hosts over their ideal type, followed by a lively recreation of the iconic Mega Victory song.
Romance and comedy take center stage as fans express their admiration for Pradeep and Sudheer through songs, love letters, and playful performances, only for the duo to hilariously tease and mock each other’s admirers. Adding to the fun, the adorable DJ Kids present charming skits imagining the hosts’ post-marriage lives, along with a quirky take on the film Bhartha Mahasayulaku Vignapthi.
The extravaganza reaches a high point with Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s grand entry, accompanied by actresses Dimple Hayati and Ashika Rangnath. Mesmerising folk dance performances by Likitha and Pooja Nageshwar light up the stage, while Irya leaves audiences in splits with the comic Athili Sathi horoscope segment. The evening concludes on a glamorous note as the leading ladies of Prabhas’ upcoming film- The Raja Saab, Niddhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, and Riddhi Kumar, make a dazzling appearance.
