New Delhi: InsuranceDekho, the fastest-growing insurtech platform, has announced its entry into cricket sponsorship through partnerships for India’s upcoming tours of Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka, marking its first major association with the sport.
Under the agreements, the company will serve as the Co-Presenting (On-Air Broadcast) Sponsor of India’s T20I tour of Zimbabwe and the Title Sponsor (On-Ground) of India’s Test series against Sri Lanka, which will be played as the InsuranceDekho Cup. The financial details of the sponsorships were not disclosed.
The move forms part of the company’s broader branding strategy to strengthen awareness of its “Khul Kar Khelo” philosophy by leveraging cricket’s nationwide reach. InsuranceDekho said the campaign builds on its mission of expanding insurance access across Bharat through its advisor-led distribution network, particularly in underserved towns and rural markets.

Ankit Agrawal, the CEO and Co-Founder, InsuranceDekho said, “Everything we do comes down to backing people, so they move forward without fear. Our mission is to take insurance deeper into Bharat and we get there by trusting and empowering our advisors*, who in turn help crores of families in the country’s smallest towns protect what matters most. Standing behind Team India is that same belief on its biggest stage: when someone has your back, you chase your ambition without fear. That is what “Bharat, Khul Kar Khelo means.”
The company’s brand ambassador, former India captain Sourav Ganguly, said, “As a captain, I learnt that a team plays fearlessly only when it knows someone is behind it. That’s exactly what InsuranceDekho does – for its advisors*, for families, and now for Team India. I’m proud that Bharat, Khul Kar Khelo travels with the team on these tours.”
Ashley De Silva, CEO of Srilanka Cricket said, “Sri Lanka Cricket welcome InsuranceDekho as the title sponsor of the upcoming Test series between India and Sri Lanka. We value partnerships that inspire participation and promote inclusivity, both of which are essential to developing a strong cricketing culture”
The three-match T20I series between India and Zimbabwe will be played at the Harare Sports Club from July 23 to 26 and will be broadcast on Zee’s Unite8 Sports. India’s Test series against Sri Lanka, branded as the InsuranceDekho Cup, will begin on August 15 and will be televised on the Sony Sports Network and streamed on Sony LIV.
InsuranceDekho said the sponsorship aligns with its objective of reaching a wider audience through cricket, one of India’s most-followed sports. The company currently operates through an advisor network of nearly 497,000 advisors covering 98% of India’s PIN codes, combining technology with human-led insurance advisory to expand financial protection across the country.
