Mumbai, 17 July, 26: Reinforcing its commitment to accelerating the growth of pickleball in India, Times Network has announced the second edition of the Pickleball Now Grand Prix 2026, a premium lifestyle sporting initiative. The grand prix tour across thirteen cities through the next few months offer aspiring pickleball players a unique opportunity to turn professional with a chance to play in the Indian Pickleball League (IPBL).
The Pickleball Now Grand Prix 2026, commences with its Mumbai edition on July 23, and continues in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Gurugram, Lucknow (played in Noida), between August to September. The series will offer valuable Pickleball World Ranking (PWR) points and upto ₹50 lakh worth in prizes.
In a significant boost for grassroots players, Pickleball Now Grand Prix has partnered with the Indian Pickleball League to create a stronger talent pipeline between amateur competition and professional sport. The tournament will also serve as an important scouting platform for the league’s franchises, with teams expected to closely track emerging talent throughout the six-city circuit. Winners of the Pickleball Now Grand Prix will earn an opportunity to enter the IPBL Player Auction, opening the doors to compete in India’s premier professional pickleball league and providing talented players with a genuine chance to make it to the big league.
Defending champions, Mumbai Smashers squad will also be present during the Mumbai leg of the tournament, giving participants an opportunity to compete in front of franchise representatives.
The Mumbai edition will be played in a round-robin format across multiple categories, including Men’s Doubles (19+) – Advanced & Intermediate; Women’s Doubles (19+) – Advanced & Intermediate; Mixed Doubles (19+) – Advanced & Intermediate; Gender Neutral Doubles (19+) – Advanced & Intermediate; and Men’s Singles (19+) – Advanced & Intermediate.
