Mumbai: Agnieszka Veriga has been elevated as Vice President – Program Management for APAC Global Experiences at Warner Bros. Discovery. Prior to this promotion, Veriga served as Vice President – Program Management, Worldwide Studio Tours and Retail at the company.
In her new role, Veriga will partner with Tony Qiu and the broader leadership team to lead the APAC Global Experiences portfolio across owned-and-operated (O&O) and licensing projects. Her mandate includes overseeing major Studio Tour destinations in Tokyo and Shanghai, while supporting Warner Bros. Discovery’s long-term growth strategy in the region through robust delivery, governance, and cross-functional collaboration.
Announcing the new role, Veriga shared, “I’ve stepped into a new role as Vice President, Program Management for APAC Global Experiences at Warner Bros. Discovery. Over the past year, I’ve been lucky to work closely with Sarah Roots, leading the Harry Potter Studio Tour Shanghai program – an ambitious, complex, and genuinely exciting journey with an incredible team behind it.
In this new role, I’ll be partnering with Tony Qiu and the wider leadership team to lead the APAC Global Experiences portfolio across O&O and licensing projects, including Studio Tours in Tokyo and Shanghai, and helping shape our long-term growth across the region through strong delivery, governance, and collaboration.”
Veriga brings over two decades of global experience spanning media, entertainment, consumer goods, and retail. Before joining Warner Bros. Discovery, she held leadership roles at Paramount, Veriga Partners Pte Ltd, Discovery Inc., OSN (Orbit Showtime Network), Middle East Broadcasting Corp, Network Ten, Reckitt Benckiser, TVN S.A, and RMF FM. She began her professional career as a Sales Manager at RMF FM in 2000.
With extensive expertise across e-commerce, business development, project management, strategic planning, operations, and talent management, Veriga’s elevation reflects Warner Bros. Discovery’s focus on strengthening leadership to support the expansion of its Global Experiences business across the Asia-Pacific region.
