Mumbai: Feeding India, in partnership with District by Zomato, has announced the third edition of the Feeding India Concert 2026, featuring global pop icon Shakira as the headline act. The four-time Grammy Award winner will perform in Mumbai on April 10 and in Delhi on April 15, marking the first time the concert will be hosted across multiple cities. The shows are presented by HSBC India, and will be produced and exclusively ticketed by District by Zomato.
The multi-city expansion represents a significant milestone for the music-for-change initiative, which aims to amplify awareness around hunger and malnutrition while bringing together artists, philanthropists, and citizens under a shared social mission.
After years of anticipation, Shakira returns to India, where fans have long awaited her live performances. Beyond entertainment, her participation is expected to strengthen national dialogue around nutrition access and child welfare.
Commenting on the announcement, Shakira said, “Performing in India has always been special to me, and I’m excited to connect with my fans across Mumbai and Delhi. The Feeding India Concert is about more than music; it’s about standing together to ensure every child has access to the nutrition they need to thrive.”
Known for global hits such as Hips Don’t Lie, Whenever, Wherever, and the World Cup anthem Waka Waka, Shakira is among the world’s best-selling music artists. Through her philanthropic initiative, the Barefoot Foundation, she has championed education and child welfare for vulnerable communities worldwide—aligning closely with the concert’s vision of building a hunger- and malnutrition-free India.

Rahul Ganjoo, CEO, District by Zomato, said, “This is a defining moment for the Feeding India Concert. Bringing an artist of Shakira’s global stature to two cities represents our commitment to scaling impact while delivering world-class entertainment. Music has the unique power to unite people across boundaries, and we’re leveraging that to drive meaningful conversations that can transform lives. This is what the Feeding India Concert stands for: experiences that move you emotionally while moving the needle on hunger.”
The Feeding India Concert is designed to accelerate progress toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal of Zero Hunger by 2030. The organisation works through systemic interventions with government partners, direct meal support to low-income and government schools, and a youth-led volunteer movement that mobilises awareness and community action.
The 2026 concert schedule includes:
- April 10, 2026: Mahalaxmi Racecourse, Mumbai
- April 15, 2026: Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi
