Mumbai: Isuzu Motors India has announced a key change in its top management with the appointment of Takeshi Hirano as Deputy Managing Director. Hirano succeeds Toru Kishimoto, who will take on a new assignment at the parent company in Japan.
Isuzu Motors India is a subsidiary of Isuzu Motors Limited. Prior to this appointment, Hirano was associated with the Isuzu Business Division at Mitsubishi Corporation in Japan.
Hirano brings over two decades of experience in distribution and marketing across global markets for Isuzu. Over the years, he has held several roles overseeing operations in different regions for both Isuzu Motors and Mitsubishi Corporation.
He is also well acquainted with the Indian automotive market, having earlier served at Isuzu Motors India as Vice President – Sales and Marketing. During his previous tenure, he played a significant role in establishing the company’s sales and marketing foundation in the country.
Meanwhile, Kishimoto will transition to a new role at the parent company in Japan. The leadership change comes in line with the company’s broader business plans and strategic direction.
The appointment is expected to further strengthen Isuzu Motors India’s leadership team as the company continues to expand its presence in the Indian market.
