Bengaluru: Indo National, the manufacturer of the dry cell battery brand Nippo, has appointed Arun Sriram as its Chief Marketing Officer, effective March 16, 2026.
Sriram brings over 16 years of experience spanning FMCG, startups, and digital growth strategy. In his new role, he will be responsible for strengthening the company’s marketing strategy and driving brand and category growth.
Prior to joining Indo National, Sriram worked as an independent consultant, advising companies on growth and business strategy. According to his LinkedIn profile, he was also a professional poker player before taking up the new role.
Earlier in his career, Sriram served as General Manager and Category Head at iD Fresh Food, where he led growth, revenue, and profitability across key product categories. He has also been associated with the startup ecosystem as the co-founder of PinkBlue.in, a B2B e-commerce platform catering to medical supplies.
Sriram began his professional journey at ITC Limited, where he worked on managing leading brands and building category strategies early in his career.
With experience across established consumer brands, entrepreneurial ventures, and consulting, Sriram’s appointment is expected to strengthen Indo National’s marketing leadership as the company continues to expand the presence of its flagship brand, Nippo, in the battery segment.
