Mumbai: Sumit Kohli has joined dentsu as Head of Investment – APAC. He joins the network after a decade-long tenure at Publicis Media, where he most recently served as Executive Director – Investment, Accountability & Partnerships – APAC.
Kohli shared the update via LinkedIn, outlining his focus in the new role. “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Investment – APAC at dentsu! My focus will be on shaping more disciplined, client-first investment approaches—ensuring decisions are aligned to client priorities and drive more effective, meaningful outcomes.”
In his new capacity, Kohli will be responsible for strengthening dentsu’s investment strategy across the Asia-Pacific region, with an emphasis on driving efficiency, accountability, and client-centric outcomes in media investments.
Prior to his stint at Publicis Media, Kohli has held key roles across leading organisations including MediaCom Singapore, VivaKi, MEC, and Percept. He began his career in 2007 as a Media Planner at Percept, steadily building a strong foundation in media and communications.
With over 15 years of experience in the industry, Kohli brings deep expertise across media buying, planning, and strategy, along with capabilities in brand management, mobile marketing, ad networks, integrated marketing, radio advertising, media relations, and digital marketing.
