Mumbai: Google has extended its collaboration with Tiger Telly to launch A Perfect Match, a six-chapter micro-drama set against the backdrop of the ongoing Indian Premier League season.
Tiger Telly, the advertising arm of Tiger Baby founded by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, operates as an end-to-end creative studio spanning development, strategy and production.
The series, written by Zoya Akhtar and directed by Arjun Varain Singh, features Ishaan Khatter and Sara Arjun, bringing together a new generation of talent aimed at resonating with younger audiences.
The campaign rollout began with a teaser-led digital build-up, including a cryptic manuscript post from Zoya Akhtar followed by behind-the-scenes glimpses from Tiger Baby and the director. The first chapter, released over the weekend, introduces Kabir and Navya—two individuals brought together on a date, where a search-assisted moment becomes central to their story. The remaining five chapters will roll out through the IPL season.
Set within India’s cricketing fervour, A Perfect Match unfolds as a light, episodic love story, blending storytelling with technology. The narrative integrates Google Search tools organically, showcasing how they fit into everyday moments of discovery, connection and decision-making.

The collaboration further strengthens Tiger Telly’s positioning as a full-service creative studio delivering integrated brand storytelling across formats, including commercials, music videos and long-form branded content. The studio has previously worked with brands such as Vivo, Tanishq, Nykaa and Google.
With its IPL-timed rollout, the campaign leverages two of India’s strongest cultural drivers—storytelling and cricket—while reinforcing how Google Search continues to shape everyday discovery and engagement for users.
