Singapore: DHL Express has appointed Herbert Vongpusanachai as Senior Vice President – Commercial for Asia Pacific, effective April 1, 2026. He will be based in Singapore and will lead the company’s commercial strategy across the region.
Vongpusanachai brings over two decades of leadership experience within DHL Express, having led multiple key markets across Asia Pacific. He first joined the company in 2003 as Managing Director for Thailand & Indochina, later heading operations in Singapore and subsequently Hong Kong & Macau. Most recently, he returned to lead Thailand & Indochina in 2020, where he drove consistent year-on-year profitable growth and strengthened the cluster’s position as a key regional growth engine.

In his new role, Vongpusanachai will focus on shaping and accelerating DHL Express’ commercial strategy in Asia Pacific, identifying high-potential sectors, routes, and trade lanes, while strengthening customer engagement and driving sustainable growth. He will also play a key role in advancing the adoption of new technologies to enhance commercial execution across markets.

According to the latest DHL Global Connectedness Report, Asia Pacific continues to be a major hub of global commerce, with Southeast Asia emerging as a fast-growing trade corridor. The region also plays a critical role in DHL Group’s broader strategy, with eight of its priority growth markets located in Asia Pacific.
