Mumbai: London International Awards (LIA) has announced that entries for its 2026 edition are now open, with just three weeks remaining to avail a 35% early bird discount on entry fees, valid until April 30.
Recognised as one of the most prestigious global shows “Created for Creatives,” LIA continues to be featured among the top five global award shows included in rankings such as the WARC Creative 100, The Drum World Creative Rankings, ADC Germany, Indikat, and Campaign Brief.
The 2026 awards are open to work released between July 1, 2025, and August 31, 2026, offering agencies, brands, and creators worldwide an opportunity to showcase their best work on a global stage.
In a bid to reflect the evolving creative landscape, LIA has introduced six new categories this year, expanding opportunities for participation. These include Sports, Gaming, Cultural Catalyst, Entertainment & Content, Business Transformation, and Democracy and Human Rights.
The Sports category will honour creativity inspired by sport and its cultural influence, while Gaming will recognise the innovative use of video games and interactive media to create branded experiences. Cultural Catalyst will spotlight work that sparks meaningful cultural conversations and drives trends.
The Entertainment & Content category focuses on storytelling that blurs the line between marketing and entertainment, rewarding work that engages audiences across platforms such as film, television, gaming, mobile, and live events. Meanwhile, Business Transformation acknowledges creativity that drives fundamental change in business operations, services, and customer experiences.
The Democracy and Human Rights category will recognise creative work that promotes democratic values and human rights globally. The award has support, but no operational role, from the European Parliament and excludes work created for political parties or candidates.
The organisers highlighted that even finalists at LIA gain significant global visibility, with winners setting new benchmarks for creative excellence each year. Winning the coveted winged LIA statue continues to serve as a mark of distinction within the global creative community.
Onsite judging for LIA 2026 will take place from September 25 to October 3, 2026, at Encore @ Wynn Las Vegas, with winners and finalists scheduled to be announced between September 28 and October 5, 2026.
