Mumbai: bigbasket, a Tata Group enterprise, has announced the appointment of Arpit Jaiswal as Chief Growth Officer, strengthening its leadership bench as it sharpens focus on profitable growth and category leadership in India’s rapidly evolving quick commerce and online grocery market.
In his new role, Jaiswal will lead growth across product, user acquisition, retention, and market expansion. He will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deepen customer engagement, improve monetization efficiency, and scale bigbasket’s presence across urban and emerging markets.
Jaiswal joins from Google Pay, where he served as Head of Growth and Group Product Manager. During his tenure, he led large-scale user acquisition initiatives through strategic partnerships and AI-led interventions, while driving disciplined operational expenditure management and P&L optimisation for India operations. He also contributed to product strategy, including rewards-led growth initiatives and improving unit economics. He is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.
