Mumbai: Flipkart Commerce Cloud has launched its Mother’s Day campaign titled #MoreThanBefore, a content-led initiative that explores the evolving identity of working mothers in the technology sector through unscripted storytelling and employee-led conversations.

The campaign moves away from conventional celebratory narratives around motherhood and instead focuses on the emotional and professional realities faced by women balancing careers and parenting responsibilities. Through intimate conversations between women working in tech, the film captures reflections on career pauses, returning to work, identity shifts and personal growth after motherhood.

Structured in an intentionally minimal and unscripted format, the film features women employees asking each other handwritten questions such as “Who were you before motherhood?”, “What changed?” and “Was coming back hard?”. The responses are candid, reflective and conversational, positioning working mothers not as idealised superheroes but as individuals navigating ambition, exhaustion, resilience and transformation simultaneously.

At the core of the campaign is the idea that motherhood does not diminish professional identity but deepens it — a message reflected in the campaign title #MoreThanBefore.

According to Flipkart Commerce Cloud, the initiative seeks to create more authentic representation for women in technology, particularly at a time when retention and career continuity for women professionals remain important conversations within the sector.

The campaign has also gained significant traction organically on LinkedIn, where it has been widely shared by working mothers, colleagues and professionals engaging with conversations around workplace inclusivity and lived experiences in corporate environments.

Rather than relying on scripted storytelling or celebrity-led narratives, the campaign centres real employees and authentic conversations, allowing viewers to connect with nuanced experiences around motherhood and career transitions.

The film concludes with a message from one working mother to another: “You did not come back the same. You came back more than you were before,” reinforcing the campaign’s broader message around growth, identity and resilience.

Through #MoreThanBefore, Flipkart Commerce Cloud positions itself within the growing workplace conversation around empathy, representation and the lived realities of women navigating both leadership and caregiving responsibilities in modern professional environments.
