New Delhi: KAI India, the Indian arm of the globally renowned Japanese brand KAI Group, has announced the appointment of Chandan Biswal as Head of Marketing. In his new role, he will lead the company’s Strategic Planning, Marketing, and Ecommerce division, focusing on accelerating market expansion, strengthening brand presence, and driving digital commerce growth across India.
An alumnus of the prestigious Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, Biswal brings over 20 years of experience in the consumer goods industry. Over the years, he has built a strong reputation for driving business growth through strategic planning, integrated marketing, digital transformation, and business expansion across General Trade, Modern Trade, E-commerce, and D2C channels.
Prior to joining KAI India, Biswal served as Chief Marketing Officer at Greenply Samet Pvt. Ltd., where he played a key role in developing scalable business models and leading innovative marketing campaigns. Throughout his career, he has worked with leading brands including Pigeon, Essity, Cadbury, and Cholayil, spearheading high-impact marketing initiatives and introducing global consumer brands to the Indian market.
He has also forged strategic partnerships with major platforms such as Amazon, Google, Meta, Flipkart, and Blinkit, further strengthening brand visibility and digital growth.
With his strong understanding of consumer behaviour and evolving market dynamics, Biswal’s appointment comes at a significant time for KAI India as the company continues to strengthen its footprint in the Indian market across kitchenware and personal care categories.
