Mumbai: Taboola has expanded its partnership with smartphone makers OPPO and its subsidiary realme, extending the reach of Taboola News to millions of additional devices across India and Thailand.
The collaboration builds on an existing partnership that began in 2023, under which OPPO and realme integrated Taboola News across millions of smartphones in markets including the United Kingdom, the Philippines, Singapore and Argentina. The latest expansion broadens the availability of Taboola’s content recommendation platform to more users globally.
As part of the extended partnership, OPPO and realme will continue integrating Taboola’s content recommendations into the lock screens of their smartphones, enabling users to discover personalized news and content from a network of global publishers while enhancing overall user engagement.
Taboola News delivers personalized content recommendations through mobile carriers and device manufacturers, integrating directly into smartphone interfaces and web browsers. The platform enables manufacturers and carriers to create new revenue opportunities while offering users relevant content from trusted publishers.
For publishers, the platform provides additional audience reach without incremental acquisition costs, while advertisers gain access to Taboola’s global network to connect with targeted audiences.
