New Delhi: ibis, an Accor’s fastest-growing hospitality brand, has announced the appointment of Vijayalakshmi P V as Director of Sales at ibis Kochi City Centre and Rathiesh Krishnan as Director of Sales at ibis Coimbatore, reinforcing its commercial leadership across key southern markets in India.
The appointments are aimed at strengthening sales performance, deepening corporate and local market engagement, and driving revenue growth across Kochi and Coimbatore. Both leaders bring extensive hospitality experience and regional market expertise to their new roles.
At ibis Kochi City Centre, Vijayalakshmi P V returns to the property after previously being part of its pre-opening team as Sales Manager. With over 12 years of experience, including more than eight years in hospitality sales, she has worked with brands such as Kochi Marriott Hotel, Novotel Kochi Infopark, and Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty. Her experience also includes a stint at Ernst & Young as Senior Consultant, along with recognition as a Presidents Club-winning SaaS Senior Account Manager. She is an Executive MBA graduate from IIM Kozhikode.
At ibis Coimbatore, Rathiesh Krishnan takes over as Director of Sales with more than 17 years of hospitality experience across South India. Over the years, he has worked with brands including Hyatt, IHG, Ramada, Savera, Rain Tree, and ITC Hotels. In his previous role at Hyatt as Senior Sales Manager, he managed key accounts and drove revenue growth through long-term client partnerships.
