Ranchi: The Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) has announced a three-year exclusive digital streaming partnership with JioHotstar for the JT20 League, Jharkhand’s premier franchise-based T20 cricket competition. Under the agreement, JioHotstar will stream all matches of the tournament live across India for the 2026, 2027 and 2028 editions.
The partnership marks a significant milestone for the inaugural edition of the JT20 League, providing the competition with nationwide visibility through one of India’s largest digital entertainment and sports streaming platforms.
JioHotstar currently streams several marquee sporting properties, including the TATA IPL, TATA WPL, ICC tournaments, and bilateral cricket series hosted by the BCCI, Cricket Australia and Cricket South Africa. The collaboration is expected to significantly enhance the reach and visibility of the newly launched league while creating a larger platform for emerging cricket talent from Jharkhand.
Commenting on the partnership, Shahbaz Nadeem, Honorary Joint Secretary, Jharkhand State Cricket Association, said, “This partnership with JioHotstar is a proud moment for Jharkhand cricket. The JT20 League is Jharkhand’s first official franchise-based cricket tournament, owned by the Jharkhand State Cricket Association and organised by AV24 Sports Pvt. Ltd. The league has been conceptualised to provide a competitive platform for players to showcase their abilities and progress to higher levels of cricket, including state, national and international competitions.
The inaugural season is set to feature several prominent cricketers from the state, including Ishan Kishan, Robin Minz, Kumar Kushagra, Anukul Roy, Sushant Mishra, Utkarsh Singh and Virat Singh, among others.

The 2026 edition of the JT20 League will commence on June 10 and run through June 23. The tournament will feature a 14-day schedule, including double-header matches throughout the league stage from Days 1 to 12, followed by double-header semi-finals on Day 13 and the final along with the presentation ceremony on June 23.
The partnership is expected to play a key role in strengthening the league’s commercial appeal and audience engagement, while providing aspiring cricketers from Jharkhand with a broader platform to showcase their talent before a national audience.
As state-level franchise leagues continue to gain traction across India, the JT20 League aims to contribute to the development of cricketing talent in Jharkhand and create a structured pathway for players seeking opportunities at higher levels of the game.
