Mumbai: YAAP, a new-age digital marketing network, has appointed Sambit Mohanty as Group Chief Creative Officer as the company sharpens its focus on integrated creativity, innovation, and global growth.
Announced in Mumbai, the appointment comes at a pivotal stage in YAAP’s expansion journey following its public listing and accelerated growth across India, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
Mohanty joins YAAP’s senior leadership team with more than two decades of experience across global agency networks including JWT, DDB, Bates, Elephant Design and McCann Worldgroup. Over the course of his career, he has delivered some of India’s most recognised campaigns and earned accolades across international platforms including Cannes Lions, Clio Awards, D&AD, One Show, Spikes Asia, Effies, Kyoorius and Abbys.
Among his notable achievements is ‘Shagun Ka Lifafa’ for Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, which won a Gold Lion at Cannes along with several global recognitions.
In his new role, Mohanty will lead creative vision and excellence across YAAP’s network, bringing together brand storytelling, content, influencer marketing, technology and AI-powered creativity into a unified offering designed for contemporary brands and evolving consumer behaviour.
