Gurugram: Astrum, India’s first research-based strategic communications consulting firm, has announced the appointment of Harsh Shrivastava as Senior Advisor as part of its continued investment in building specialised advisory capabilities for Indian and global clients navigating increasingly complex policy, regulatory, and stakeholder environments.
In his new role, Harsh will work closely with Astrum’s leadership team to advise clients on matters at the intersection of regulation, reputation, and stakeholder engagement. He will also contribute to strengthening the firm’s capabilities across executive content, policy advocacy, government relations, and strategic communications.
Harsh joins Astrum’s senior advisory panel with more than three decades of experience spanning government, industry bodies, media, civil society, and corporate India.
An alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad, Harsh has previously served in the Planning Commission and the Prime Minister Office. He later led key industry organisations as CEO of the Public Affairs Forum of India and the Microfinance Institutions Network, a self-regulatory organisation under the Reserve Bank of India. Across these roles, he represented industry interests before regulators, government agencies, investors, media, and customers. His corporate experience also includes senior leadership assignments at the Confederation of Indian Industry, Feedback Ventures, and other large organisations, where he led initiatives across policy advocacy, corporate affairs, and business development.
