Mumbai: Over the years, Ajay Devgn has been part of some of Indian cinema’s most loved action films and unforgettable characters that audiences have rooted for. Now, the OG Action Star is back in a fierce new avatar as Chauhaan. The film also marks his first-ever collaboration with filmmaker Aanand L Rai, while India’s content powerhouse Jio Studios comes on board as the presenter and producer, making the action entertainer one of the most exciting collaborations to watch out for.
Remembering the late action director Veeru Devgan on his birth anniversary, the makers today unveiled the first look of Ajay Devgn in and as _Chauhaan_, giving audiences a glimpse into the film’s gritty and action-packed world.
The title announcement comes with an added surprise for fans. With the iconic _Jumma Chumma De De_ playing in the backdrop and ending with the massy dialogue, “_Pathaanon se kehna, Chauhaan aa raha hai”, the video packs in all the elements of a true blue mass entertainer. With _Chauhaan_, Ajay Devgn returns to the larger-than-life action-hero avatar that audiences have always loved him in.
Presented by Jio Studios and a Colour Yellow, _Chauhaan_ is directed by Neeraj Yadav and produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aanand L Rai, and Himanshu Sharma. The film is slated to arrive in cinemas on 1st October 2027.
