Mumbai: Tata Communications has announced the appointment of two senior leaders to strengthen its capabilities across network infrastructure, cloud and cybersecurity services, as the company sharpens its focus on supporting enterprises with AI-enabled digital infrastructure.
The company has appointed Rupesh Chokshi as Executive Vice President and Global Business Head – Network Services and Chief Technology Officer. Vivek Srivastava has been named Executive Vice President and Business Head – Cloud and Cyber Security Services. Both executives will join the company’s Global Management Committee.

Strengthening network leadership
Chokshi brings more than 25 years of global leadership experience spanning networking, cloud connectivity, cybersecurity and software-defined infrastructure. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Application Security at Akamai Technologies, following senior leadership roles at AT&T.
In his new role, he will lead Tata Communications’ Network Services business, overseeing product strategy, AI-led network innovation and the expansion of the company’s global digital infrastructure capabilities.

Expanding cloud and cybersecurity portfolio
Srivastava joins Tata Communications from Fortinet, where he currently serves as Country Manager for India and the SAARC region. With over 27 years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure and digital transformation, he has previously held leadership positions at CrowdStrike, Cisco and IBM.
He will spearhead the expansion of Tata Communications’ cloud and cybersecurity portfolio, focusing on delivering secure, scalable and future-ready solutions for enterprise customers.
